Agave & Rye

Last weekend we stayed close to home for our “What’s New Weekend” destination as Addy’s band competition was at Lucas Oil — WHICH they placed 1st btw!

We chose to dine at a fun place called Agave & Rye… where they self claim to have a “taco menu as vibrant as the Indianapolis 500 and tequila shots faster than the cars”

Both Chris and I opted for chips and salsa and then our own taco flight, which includes smaller portions of their original size tacos. Don’t let that fool you though, I struggled to finish 3 “smaller” tacos! My choices were “The Ya Mon” (blackened salmon with a pineapple slaw), “The Bomb” (carne asada, shrimp, mac n cheese) and “The Swipe Right” (chicken, bacon, sour cream). I also had a NEW fashioned to drink.

The atmosphere and the restaurant art was super fun! And for whatever reason … I always take ceiling pics. The ceiling pic in this post is one of my faves!
