Grindstone Public House

Finally catching up after my last few weeks have been just a little insane! For almost 5 months now we’ve been able to do SOMETHING new to us each weekend. We haven’t really said how long we’ll continue this but I hate to break the streak!

Last Saturday we travelled through Helene to attend the HCC conference in Noblesville… which was an exciting xc meet by the way!! Afterwards we stopped and Grindstone Public House for brunch.

We shared an avocado toast for our starter … was a little pricey once we realized it was only one piece of toast. BUT it was delicious! I think I liked it more than Chris as it has balsamic glaze and feta. Not his favorite. He also ordered a Cobb and I got the chicken salad plate. The salad had potential, but I feel like the dressing was too savory and needed more sweetness!

I was going to order an Irish coffee but they didn’t have it iced… so I went with my usual Old Fashioned with my brunch!
