We stayed close to home for our “What’s New Weekend” and ventured over to Brownsburg!
One thing (amongst many) that I love about this little journey is that we’ve been able to check out many places we’ve heard about but just haven’t had the opportunity to check out yet— One of those places being Books & Brews!
Chris and I went over for a late lunch yesterday and REALLY enjoyed it. The menu was small, but pretty genius. As an epilogue we got an Oliver Twist (maybe 2 
) which was a pretzel with beer cheese and mustard. 
Next we each chose our own chapter/food adventure. We both went with the pulled pork, but Chris ordered his on nachos while I had it on a flatbread.
They even had prologues to choose from with one being “If you Give Yourself a Cookie” 
Lastly I chose a Slush Rush to drink from BrewDog USA…. A cherry lime wheat ale that I loved so much I brought home a growler.
I also learned there used to be 10 locations of Books and Brews, but since Covid they only have 2 remaining locations in Castleton and Brownsburg.
This was a super fun place and I’d love to go back!!
