Sprinkles, Central Park, and Goodness Gracious!

A little late! But here’s a little “What’s New Weekend!” Update!

We made a quick trip over to Terre Haute to see my parents on Saturday. On the way back home we stopped at Sprinkles in West Terre Haute… what an adorable place! I tried a SF Iced Caramel Latte and of course a sprinkles cookie. Both were consumed in no time. I also picked up a cosmic brownie cookie for Gavin, a peanut butter for Nolan, and Chris went with the orange creamsicle. Apprently they switch up the cookie menu each week— how fun!

On Sunday we went to Carmel to check out Central Park. The reviews made it sound like the park was “huge” but to us it seemed pretty small. The maps at the parking lot were nice, but the trails weren’t well marked. They had a little bit of everything— paved, dirt, gravel and boardwalk trails… which also connect to the Monon. As always, it’s fun to check out a new park but I probably won’t go back.

After we worked up an appetite at the park we tried Goodness Gracious Kitchen & Cupboard for breakfast. OMG PINK! Everything was PINK! It was a cute and tasty experience with plenty of pink vintage flair. I had the bagel and lox and Chris had the manliest egg breakfast he could find in an all pink restaurant! OH- and a little bonus **free refills on iced coffee!
